Ingredients

  • 2 (10 oz) packages chopped broccoli
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 cup ham
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Cook broccoli according to package directions and drain, ensuring not to overcook.
  3. Cook rice in water until tender and set aside.
  4. Sauté chopped onion in butter until tender.
  5. Combine milk and cream of mushroom soup in a bowl.
  6. Mix cooked broccoli, rice, sautéed onion, ham, and soup mixture together, reserving some grated cheddar cheese for topping.
  7. Pour the mixture into a casserole dish and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  8. Bake until the cheese has melted and ingredients are well blended, approximately 20-25 minutes.
