Ingredients

  • 6 pork chops (1/2-inch thick)
  • 2 Tbsp margarine
  • 1/3 c flour
  • 2/3 c skim milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp minced onion
  • 3 tsp parsley flakes
  • 1/3 c grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/8 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray a baking dish with Pam spray.
  2. Season the pork chops with pepper and set aside.
  3. In a shallow dish, combine flour, minced onion, parsley flakes, and grated Parmesan cheese.
  4. Dip each pork chop into beaten egg, then coat with the flour mixture.
  5. Heat margarine in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Brown the coated pork chops in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Transfer the browned pork chops to the prepared baking dish.
  8. In a small saucepan, heat skim milk until warm.
  9. Pour the warm milk over the pork chops in the baking dish.
  10. Sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese on top of each chop if desired.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the pork is cooked through and the cheese topping is golden.
