Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
  • 2 c. grated sharp cheese
  • 2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 8 or 9 oz. spaghetti

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine in a large saucepan; sauté chopped onions, chopped green pepper, and chopped celery.
  2. Add frozen chopped broccoli on top; cover and simmer until broccoli is thawed.
  3. Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
  4. In a bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup and milk.
  5. In a buttered 3-quart casserole dish, layer cooked spaghetti, vegetables, drained mushrooms, the soup mixture, and 1 1/2 cups grated cheese.
  6. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 35 to 45 minutes or until hot and bubbling.
