Broccoli-Spinach Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. frozen spinach
  • 1 pkg. frozen broccoli
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup cubed American cheese
  • 2 cups herbed seasoned croutons
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine

Instructions

  1. Cook the frozen spinach and broccoli for half the recommended time on their packages. Drain well.
  2. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Combine the cream of mushroom soup and cubed American cheese in a saucepan. Cook until the cheese melts smoothly.
  4. Mix the cooked vegetables with the soup and cheese mixture. Pour into a 9 x 12-inch baking dish.
  5. Mix the herbed seasoned croutons with the melted margarine. Sprinkle the crouton mixture evenly over the casserole.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20 to 25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
