Tips & Substitutions

For a spicier kick, consider substituting with spicy Italian sausage or adding some crushed red pepper flakes to the mixture. If you prefer a creamier texture, try using cream cheese instead of Velveeta. This dish is great for gatherings, so make a double batch to share. Ensure the meat is well-seasoned to enhance the overall flavor profile.

Serving Suggestions

These broiler snacks are perfect for parties and game days. Serve them alongside a fresh salad or a platter of vegetables and dip for a balanced meal. Pair with your favorite dipping sauces like marinara or ranch for added flavor. They also complement well with sides of Beef Gravy for a hearty touch.

Storage & Reheating

After preparing the snacks, store them in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 months. To reheat, place the frozen slices under the broiler for about 5-7 minutes until golden and bubbly. Keep a close eye to prevent burning and ensure even heating.
