Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup margarine
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 large bag chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients thoroughly in a bowl.
  2. Pour the batter into a greased 10 x 14-inch pan.
  3. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 16 to 20 minutes.
  4. Allow to cool, then cut into squares.
