Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 2/3 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/3 c. sugar
  • 2 2/3 c. flour
  • 1 1/3 c. chocolate chips
  • 1 1/3 c. walnuts, chopped
  • 1 1/3 c. maraschino cherries
  • 1 1/3 c. dates, chopped

Instructions

  1. Sift together the baking powder, salt, sugar, and flour.
  2. Add the eggs and mix thoroughly until well combined.
  3. Mix in the chocolate chips, walnuts, maraschino cherries, and chopped dates.
  4. Divide the batter evenly into two greased bread pans.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 325°F (160°C) for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
