Ingredients

  • 16 slices Pepperidge bread, crust removed
  • 8 thin slices Canadian bacon
  • 8 slices sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 8 eggs
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup green pepper

Instructions

  1. In a 9 x 13-inch pan, layer 8 slices of bread, then cheese, bacon, and another 8 slices of bread.
  2. Mix eggs, milk, salt, pepper, dry mustard, minced onion, and Worcestershire sauce together.
  3. Pour the egg mixture over the layered bread and refrigerate overnight.
  4. In the morning, sprinkle 2 cups crushed potato chips on top.
  5. Pour melted butter over the top and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
