Ingredients

  • 6 slices bread
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 lb. sausage
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Line a greased 13 x 9-inch pan with bread slices.
  2. Top each bread slice with a slice of Swiss cheese.
  3. Spoon cooked and drained sausage over the cheese.
  4. In a bowl, beat eggs, milk, evaporated milk, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce together.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the layered bread, cheese, and sausage in the pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 50 minutes until set and golden.
