Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 2 c. shredded cabbage
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 c. diced celery
  • 1/2 medium bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • soy sauce to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large heavy skillet, heat the oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the shredded cabbage, sliced onion, diced celery, chopped bell pepper, and chopped tomato.
  3. Stir the mixture until the vegetables are lightly coated with the oil.
  4. Cook, covered, for 5 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle the mixture with soy sauce and serve hot.
