Ingredients

  • 2 lb. chicken, rolled in flour
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • dash of garlic
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 quart chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. curry powder
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper

Instructions

  1. Brown coated chicken in grease.
  2. Remove chicken after browned and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté onion, mushrooms, and a dash of garlic.
  4. Add boiling water, chopped tomatoes, curry powder, pepper, salt, thyme, and red pepper.
  5. Return chicken to the pan.
  6. Simmer chicken in the mixture until about done, then spoon Bisquick over chicken to make small biscuits.
  7. Cover and cook for 12 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle with parsley and paprika before serving.
