Ingredients

  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can tuna or chicken
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 tablespoon onion
  • 4 ounces cashews
  • 1 can chow mein noodles
  • 1 can sliced pimento (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend the mushroom soup with water until smooth.
  2. Combine the soup mixture with tuna or chicken, chopped celery, onion, cashews, and sliced pimentos if using.
  3. Save a few chow mein noodles for topping and mix the rest into the casserole.
  4. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and top with the reserved chow mein noodles.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes until hot and bubbly.
