Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
  • 2 tsp. dill seed
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1 pkg. active dry yeast
  • 1 Tbsp. soft butter
  • 1/4 c. very hot tap water
  • 1 c. creamed cottage cheese (at room temperature)
  • 1 egg (room temperature)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix 1/4 cup flour, sugar, salt, instant minced onion, dill seed, soda, and undissolved yeast.
  2. Add softened butter to the mixture.
  3. Gradually add very hot tap water and beat for 2 minutes at medium speed with an electric beater.
  4. Scrape the bowl occasionally during mixing.
