Ingredients

  • 8 strips bacon
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 package beef
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 8 oz. cooked egg noodles
  • 1/4 cup grated cheese
  • 1/2 cup croutons

Instructions

  1. Fry bacon until crisp.
  2. Remove bacon and some fat from the frypan.
  3. Add chopped onion and green pepper to the frypan and sauté.
  4. Add cooked beef, cream of mushroom soup, and cooked egg noodles to the frypan.
  5. Combine all ingredients except cheese, croutons, and bacon in a casserole dish.
  6. Sprinkle grated cheese over the top of the casserole.
  7. Add croutons and crumbled bacon on top.
  8. Bake in a 350°F oven until the cheese melts and the casserole is heated through.
