Ingredients

  • 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 8 slices bacon, fried crisp
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon mustard
  • 5 to 6 drops hot sauce
  • 8 slices bread, toasted lightly

Instructions

  1. Mix grated Cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, broken bacon pieces, slightly beaten egg, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and hot sauce together.
  2. Spread the mixture on lightly toasted bread slices.
  3. Cut each bread slice into 4 strips.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12 to 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
