Ingredients

  • 2 c. Feta cheese
  • 16 oz. cottage cheese
  • 16 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 lb. salt butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 lb. filo
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix feta cheese, cottage cheese, cream cheese, eggs, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Cut filo dough into 5-inch strips.
  3. Brush a strip with butter.
  4. Add a small amount of cheese mixture; fold sides slightly to enclose the filling.
  5. Brush again with butter, then fold the strip like a flag or into any desired shape.
  6. Bake at 450°F until golden brown, about 10 minutes.
