- In a casserole dish, combine 1 1/2 cups spaghetti sauce, 3 tablespoons grated cheese, and bread crumbs.
- Layer sliced green peppers, potatoes, squash, and fried onions over the sauce in the casserole dish.
- Between layers, add small amounts of oregano, parsley, garlic, and basil.
- Repeat layering with remaining vegetables, sauce, cheese, and bread crumbs.
- Cover the casserole with foil and seal well.
- Bake at 350°F for 45 to 50 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
