Ingredients

  • 3 cups hot, cooked rice
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 package chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Into hot, cooked rice, stir in 1 cup of shredded Cheddar cheese, butter, and chicken broth.
  2. Mix well until combined.
  3. Combine milk and egg, then stir into the hot rice mixture.
  4. Spoon the mixture into a buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
  5. Bake at 400°F for 15 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and bake for another 5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
