Cheesy Biscuit Dinner

Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz.) can refrigerated flaky biscuits
  • 3 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 6 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3 Tbsp. dry onion soup mix
  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

Instructions

  1. Separate dough into ten biscuits.
  2. Press or roll each into a 4-inch circle.
  3. Combine cream cheese and 1/2 of the Cheddar cheese with 1 tablespoon onion.
  4. Mix.
  5. Blend well.
  6. Spoon about 1 tablespoon mixture onto center of each biscuit.
  7. Fold dough in half over filling.
  8. Press edges with fork to seal.
  9. In a skillet, brown beef with remaining onion soup mix; drain.
  10. Stir in soup, remaining Cheddar cheese and eggs; heat until hot and bubbly, stirring quickly to keep eggs from cooking up separately.
  11. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish; arrange filled biscuits in hot meat mixture.
  12. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes or until deep golden brown.
  13. Serve immediately.
