Ingredients

  • 3 veal steaks
  • 1 pkg. sliced almonds
  • 1 1/2 lb. chestnuts
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 6 oz. can tomato paste
  • 3/4 cup long grain rice
  • water
  • butter
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil veal steaks until cooked, then cut into small pieces.
  2. Brown diced onion in butter, then add cooked veal, sliced almonds, boiled chestnuts, raisins, tomato paste, and rice.
  3. Cook until rice is tender, about 20 to 25 minutes, adding water if needed to keep mixture moist.
  4. Cool the mixture, then stuff into a turkey or serve as desired.
