Ingredients

  • 1 fryer chicken
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoon flour

Instructions

  1. Combine yogurt, salt, garlic, ground cardamom, chili powder, and cinnamon to create the marinade.
  2. Marinate the chicken in the yogurt mixture for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Place the marinated chicken in a baking pan, skin side up.
  4. Mix the flour with the remaining marinade and spoon it over the chicken.
  5. Bake in a 350°F oven for about 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
  6. Baste the chicken occasionally with the marinade during baking.
