Ingredients

  • 10 oz. can chicken a la king
  • 2 Tbsp. pimento, chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup celery, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 cup garlic croutons
  • 1 large crust

Instructions

  1. Combine chicken a la king and chopped pimento in a bowl.
  2. Heat the mixture thoroughly.
  3. In a 10-inch skillet, cook chopped onion and celery in butter until tender.
  4. Add garlic croutons to the skillet and toss lightly.
  5. Divide the crust in halves and place in the skillet or on a baking sheet.
  6. Place the cooked vegetables and croutons in each crust half and fold to form a pocket.
  7. Bake until the crust is done at 375°F (190°C).
  8. Pour the heated chicken mixture over the baked crusts before serving.
