Ingredients

  • 6 chicken breast halves, skinned
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dark corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1 green pepper, cut in strips
  • orange slices
  • parsley

Instructions

  1. Dredge chicken in flour and brown in vegetable oil.
  2. Transfer the browned chicken to a greased shallow baking dish.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Combine orange juice, chili sauce, soy sauce, dark corn syrup, and prepared mustard in a skillet and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the baking dish.
  7. Cover and bake at 350°F for 45 minutes until tender.
  8. Garnish with orange slices and parsley before serving.
