Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 lb. chicken livers
  • 1 qt. tomatoes
  • 1 large can tomato sauce
  • 3/4 can tomato paste
  • chili powder
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil

Instructions

  1. Brown hamburger, chopped onion, and chopped green pepper in a skillet.
  2. Brown chicken livers in butter until cooked through.
  3. Cut chicken livers into small pieces.
  4. Combine browned hamburger mixture, chicken livers, tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add olive oil to the mixture and stir well.
  6. Cook spaghetti in boiling water for 7 minutes, then drain.
  7. Layer cooked spaghetti in a baking dish, then add a layer of the meat sauce.
  8. Repeat layering, ending with a layer of sauce on top.
  9. Bake in a 300°F oven for approximately 20 minutes.
