Chicken Noodle Dish
A hearty chicken noodle casserole with creamy mushroom and chicken soups, flavorful vegetables, and melted cheese, perfect for cozy family dinners or meal prep.
Ingredients
- 1 fryer or 4-5 chicken breasts, boiled
- 1 stick oleo ⓘ
- 1 cup chopped onion ⓘ
- 1 cup chopped celery ⓘ
- 1 cup chopped bell pepper ⓘ
- 1 cup chicken broth ⓘ
- 1 4 oz can mushrooms, stems and pieces
- 1 can Cream of Chicken soup ⓘ
- 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup ⓘ
- 1 1/2 cups Jalapeno Pepper Cheese log or 1 cup grated cheddar cheese ⓘ
- 1/2 package thin noodles, cooked ⓘ
Instructions
- Saute onion, celery, bell pepper, and mushrooms in oleo.
- Cut boiled chicken into large pieces.
- Sprinkle chicken with lemon juice.
- Add vegetables and 1 cup of chicken broth to the soups.
- Heat the mixture but do not boil.
- Fold in cheese, cooked noodles, chicken, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Pour into casseroles and bake at 325°F for 30-35 minutes.
- Casseroles can be frozen and baked later.
