Creamy chicken and nut pâté combines crunchy pecans and walnuts with tender cooked chicken, blended with tangy mayonnaise and ginger, perfect as an appetizer or spread for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 c. pecans
  • 1 c. walnuts
  • 1 lb. cooked chicken
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. minced crystallized ginger
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 c. minced green onion

Instructions

  1. Process pecans, walnuts, and cooked chicken until finely ground.
  2. Add mayonnaise, minced crystallized ginger, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and white wine vinegar, blending well.
  3. Refrigerate to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Serve with crackers or mold and frost with sour cream.
