Ingredients

  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon curry
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup Amaretto
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into strips.
  2. Mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and curry in a bowl.
  3. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Dip chicken strips into the flour mixture, then brown them in the skillet.
  5. Brown both sides of the chicken strips, then add Amaretto and lemon juice to the skillet.
  6. Simmer for 5 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  7. Mix chicken broth and cornstarch together in a small bowl.
  8. Stir the mixture into the skillet with the chicken and sauce.
  9. Cook until the sauce thickens.
  10. Serve the chicken Saronno over rice.
