Ingredients

  • 1 head nappa cabbage
  • 5 green onions
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup sesame seeds
  • 1 small package slivered almonds
  • 2 packages Ramen Noodles

Instructions

  1. Remove stalks from cabbage, chop the cabbage, wash and refrigerate.
  2. Dice the green onions.
  3. Over low heat, melt butter in a pan.
  4. Crush the Ramen noodles (discard flavor packets).
  5. Add the crushed noodles, sesame seeds, and slivered almonds to the melted butter.
  6. Stir often until the mixture is browned.
  7. Drain the noodle mixture on paper towels.
