Tips & Substitutions

To enhance the flavor of the vegetable filling, consider adding a dash of sesame oil or a sprinkle of crushed red pepper flakes for heat. If you don't have chives, green onions can be a great substitute. For a gluten-free option, use rice paper wrappers instead of egg roll wrappers. Make sure to keep the filling cool to prevent the wrappers from becoming soggy.

Serving Suggestions

Serve these Chinese Vegetable Pouches with a side of soy sauce or sweet chili sauce for dipping. They pair beautifully with steamed jasmine rice or stir-fried vegetables. Storage & Reheating

Store any leftover vegetable pouches in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place them in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 10-15 minutes until heated through, or pan-fry them on medium heat until crispy again. This helps maintain their texture and flavor.
