- Cream butter in a large mixing bowl.
- Add sugar, beating until fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating at medium speed of electric mixer.
- Set mixture aside.
- Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa; add to creamed mixture, stirring well.
- Stir in vanilla and chopped pecans.
- Spoon batter into a greased 9-inch square pan.
- Bake at 350°F for 18 to 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven; sprinkle with miniature marshmallows.
- Cover with foil; allow to stand for 5 minutes to melt marshmallows.
- Remove foil.
- Spread frosting on top of warm brownies; cool and cut into squares.
