Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs (60 wafers)
  • 1 c. sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. chopped dates
  • 1 c. finely chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. chopped candied cherries
  • 2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
  • confectioners sugar

Instructions

  1. In large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, except confectioners sugar.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Chill 1 hour.
  4. Shape into balls. Roll in confectioners sugar.
  5. Store lightly covered in refrigerator.
  6. Flavor improves in 24 hours.
  7. Makes about 10 dozen.
