Clam Bake

Ingredients
- medium size potatoes, washed and whole ⓘ
- carrots, washed and cut into serving pieces
- corn-on-the-cob, cut into 4 to 6 inch pieces
- 4 stalks celery, cut into 4 inch pieces ⓘ
- medium onions, peeled and whole ⓘ
- sausage, cut into serving size ⓘ
- pork chops, whole ⓘ
- shrimp, in shell ⓘ
- chicken, cut into serving pieces ⓘ
- 1 stick margarine ⓘ
- 100 cherrystone clams
- 3 bottles seafood sauce ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes ⓘ
- small sweet potatoes, washed and whole (optional)
- salt ⓘ
Instructions
- Prepare all meats ahead of time and place them in a large bowl.
- Pour seafood sauce into another bowl, then add salt, pepper, and parsley flakes; mix well.
- Pour the seasoned sauce over the meats, ensuring all are coated.
- Add enough water to barely cover all the meats and push the meats under the sauce.
- Marinate the meats in the sauce for at least several hours before assembling the bake.
