Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup reduced calorie margarine
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup frozen egg substitute, thawed
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 3/4 cup miniature chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Beat softened margarine at medium speed of an electric mixer until creamy.
  2. Gradually add sugars, beating well.
  3. Add egg substitute, 1/4 cup at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa.
  5. Add to margarine mixture, stirring just until blended.
  6. Stir in miniature chocolate chips.
  7. Drop cookie dough by level teaspoon, 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake at 375°F for 6 minutes.
  9. Remove from cookie sheets and let cool on wire racks.
