  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 7 egg yolks
  • 3/4 c. cold water
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 7 egg whites, room temperature
  • 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt, and baking soda in a large bowl.
  2. Make a well in the mixture; add oil, egg yolks, water, and vanilla in order.
  3. Beat until smooth.
