Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. lemon jello
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 c. cold water
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 tsp. grated onion
  • 3 c. shredded cabbage
  • 2 Tbsp. diced pimiento
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Dissolve lemon jello and salt in boiling water.
  2. Add cold water and vinegar, stirring well.
  3. Stir in mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, and grated onion, blending thoroughly.
  4. Chill until the mixture thickens.
  5. Fold in shredded cabbage, diced pimiento, and chopped parsley.
  6. Pour into a 4-cup mold or serving bowl.
  7. Chill until firm, about 3 hours.
  8. Unmold and serve.
