Ingredients

  • 8 oz. thin spaghetti
  • 2 Tbsp. minced onions
  • 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 6 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 c. half and half
  • 1 c. chicken broth
  • 3 c. cooked, diced ham
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese grated

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti; drain, rinse and set aside.
  2. Saute onions lightly in butter or margarine in a pan; stir in flour.
  3. Gradually stir in broth, milk, and half and half, then cook, stirring, until thickened.
  4. Remove from heat and combine with cooked ham and cheese as desired.
