Ingredients

  • 1/2 package cornbread (Pepperidge Farm)
  • 1 small package plain bread crumbs (Pepperidge Farm)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • turkey broth and water to make 1 quart
  • 1 stick margarine

Instructions

  1. Boil onion and celery in turkey broth until tender.
  2. Add margarine to the broth to melt.
  3. Mix the cooked onions, celery, beaten egg, broth, and margarine.
  4. Pour the mixture over cornbread and bread crumbs, then mix well.
  5. Put the mixture into a buttered casserole dish.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes until browned.
