Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup cornmeal
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 small can crushed corn
  • 1/2 cup oil

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients: cornmeal, all-purpose flour, salt, and baking soda.
  2. Add eggs, sour cream, crushed corn, and oil; mix well until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into a well-greased 9 x 9-inch pan.
  4. Melt 1/4 cup butter or oleo.
  5. Pour melted butter over the batter.
  6. Bake at 400°F until done, about 20 minutes.
