Ingredients

  • 2 c. Crisco
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 4 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pt. small curd cottage cheese
  • 5 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Instructions

  1. Cream and blend the Crisco, white sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, eggs, and cottage cheese.
  2. Mix the flour, baking powder, cocoa, and baking soda and add to the first mixture.
  3. Mix well until combined.
  4. Chill the dough for 1 hour.
  5. Roll the dough into balls, then roll in powdered sugar.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 minutes.
