Ingredients

  • 1 round unsliced sourdough bread loaf
  • 3 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese
  • 2 (6 oz.) cans crab, drained
  • 1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, chopped
  • 4 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • Worcestershire sauce to taste
  • hot pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice off the top of the bread round and hollow out the inside, saving the bread and the top.
  2. Mix together all remaining ingredients and place the mixture in the hollowed-out bread round.
  3. Cover with the reserved top of the bread.
  4. Wrap the bread in heavy foil and place on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 250°F for 3 hours.
  6. Before serving, cut up the reserved bread into cubes.
  7. Place the bread bowl on a serving plate and surround it with the bread cubes.
