Crabmeat canapes are delightful bite-sized appetizers featuring tender crabmeat, melted cheddar, and savory olives on soft rolls, perfect for parties and elegant gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. (6 oz.) small party rolls
  • 1 cup white crabmeat, drained
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped ripe olives
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Scoop out the center of each party roll and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine crabmeat, shredded Cheddar cheese, chopped ripe olives, mayonnaise, chopped green onions, lemon juice, and pepper, stirring well.
  3. Fill each hollowed roll with the crab mixture.
  4. Bake the filled rolls at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes or until the cheese melts.
