Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine or butter
  • 2 cups white onions, chopped
  • 2 cups celery, chopped
  • 1 cup bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 pounds crabmeat
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 1/2 cups soft bread crumbs
  • red pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Saute onions, celery, and bell pepper in margarine until golden brown on low heat.
  2. Add crabmeat, cream of mushroom soup, chopped green onions, and parsley.
  3. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Season to taste with red pepper, garlic salt, and seasoned salt.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Add bread crumbs and mix well.
  7. Pour into a buttered 3-quart oblong baking dish.
  8. Bake, uncovered, for 40 minutes at 350°F.
