Ingredients

  • 1 lb. crawfish with fat
  • 1 stick butter or oleo
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper
  • 1/2 pt. sour cream

Instructions

  1. Saute onion and bell pepper in butter until clear.
  2. Coat crawfish with crawfish fat.
  3. Mix flour with crawfish and coat.
  4. Add crawfish to onions and bell pepper.
  5. Add salt and red pepper.
  6. Blend all ingredients together and cook, covered, over low heat, no more than 10 minutes, until done.
  7. Let cool slightly before adding sour cream.
  8. Serve over vermicelli.
