Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups canned milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/3 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 8-inch deep pie crust

Instructions

  1. Beat all ingredients together with an eggbeater until blended and creamy.
  2. Pour the mixture into a pastry-lined 8-inch deep pie crust.
  3. Bake at 425°F for 45 to 55 minutes, or until a silver knife inserted into the side of the filling comes out clean.
  4. For a lighter color and milder flavor, omit the cloves.
