Creole Noodles combine tender egg noodles with a flavorful Creole-inspired sauce of yogurt, chili, and mustard, perfect for a quick, comforting, and mildly spicy meal.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. uncooked wide egg noodles
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 small green pepper, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
  • 6 oz. plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles as directed on package; drain.
  2. Cook and stir onion and green pepper in margarine in a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat until tender.
  3. Stir in yogurt, chili sauce, and mustard.
  4. Heat, stirring constantly, just until hot.
  5. Add noodles and toss until coated with the yogurt mixture.
