Ingredients

  • 6 half chicken breasts, washed and dried (skin removed)
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 cans cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup dry sherry or Sauterne
  • 1 tsp. tarragon or rosemary leaves
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 small can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Put chicken breasts in the crock-pot.
  2. Combine margarine, cream of chicken or mushroom soup, dry sherry, tarragon or rosemary, garlic powder, drained sliced mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, and salt in a saucepan and heat until hot.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken breasts in the crock-pot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 7 hours.
