Ingredients
- 6 half chicken breasts, washed and dried (skin removed) ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. margarine ⓘ
- 2 cans cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup ⓘ
- 1/2 cup dry sherry or Sauterne ⓘ
- 1 tsp. tarragon or rosemary leaves ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder ⓘ
- 1 small can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce ⓘ
- 1 tsp. salt ⓘ
Instructions
- Put chicken breasts in the crock-pot.
- Combine margarine, cream of chicken or mushroom soup, dry sherry, tarragon or rosemary, garlic powder, drained sliced mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, and salt in a saucepan and heat until hot.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken breasts in the crock-pot.
- Cover and cook on low for 5 to 7 hours.
