Storage & Reheating

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make this salad in advance?

Yes, you can prepare the salad ingredients a few hours ahead. However, it's best to assemble the salad and add the dressing just before serving to prevent the greens from wilting. You can also prepare the dressing and store it separately in the fridge until you're ready to toss everything together.

Is it possible to make this salad vegetarian?

Absolutely! This recipe is already vegetarian-friendly, but you can enhance its flavor profile by adding more vegetables like bell peppers or cucumbers. For a protein boost, consider adding chickpeas or edamame, making it a satisfying meal for vegetarians.

What other nuts can I use in this recipe?

You can substitute walnuts with pecans or almonds for a different flavor. If you're allergic to nuts, try using pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds for crunch. These alternatives will still provide a satisfying texture while accommodating different dietary needs.
