Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 large tomatoes, cubed
  • 1 large red pepper, cubed
  • 1 large green pepper, cubed
  • 1 bunch green onions, sliced
  • 1 (6 oz.) can ripe olives, drained
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 to 3 cups hot cooked rice

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and drain off excess fat.
  2. Add the cubed tomatoes, red and green peppers, sliced green onions, drained olives, raisins, and salt to the beef.
  3. Cook the mixture for 10 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
  4. Serve the picadillo over hot cooked rice.
