Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons curry powder
  • 1 No. 2 can apricots
  • 1 No. 2 can pears
  • 1 No. 2 can peaches
  • 1 No. 2 can pineapple slices
  • 10 maraschino cherries

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan and stir in dark brown sugar and curry powder until well combined.
  2. Drain the canned fruits and arrange them in layers or rows in a casserole dish, reserving the cherries and some fruit for garnish.
  3. Pour the butter and brown sugar mixture over the arranged fruits in the casserole dish.
  4. Arrange the reserved cherries and fruit on top for garnish.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes or until the fruit is bubbling and heated through.
  6. Serve hot.
