Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 envelopes no melt unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs until thick and lemon colored.
  2. Gradually add sugar and beat until well blended.
  3. Stir in vegetable oil, unsweetened chocolate, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Add dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture, blending well.
  6. Stir in chopped nuts.
  7. Spread the batter in a buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25 to 30 minutes.
